Files referred to are:

The files with types of .SEA are self-extracting archives; those with types of .SEB are the corresponding +3BASIC loaders. To unpack one of these on a +3, run the .SEB file. If you remove the +3DOS header (128 bytes) from the .SEA file, it will unpack with PMEXT under CP/M. I know of no programs on other platforms which will do this; LHA will display the archive directory but will not be able to unpack the files.

You may need to set your viewer to download files to disc before clicking on these hyperlinks.

MSODBALL

MSODBALL is a format conversion program which converts 706k discs between DOS and CP/M format, preserving all files. It runs on +3s under +3DOS; there is also a CP/M version.

[CP/M BINARY] MSODBALL.ARC is the CP/M version (including source);

[SPECTRUM BINARY] MSODBALL.SEA is the self-extracting archive;

[SPECTRUM BINARY] MSODBALL.SEB is the BASIC loader.

To get MSODBALL onto a +3 if you have a 3.5" drive but no transfer software, download DOSXFER.ZIP and use RAWRITE or dd to get it onto a 3.5" disc.

[720K DISC IMAGE] DOSXFER.ZIP - compressed disc image

M3CONV

M3conv converts Multiface 3 files to .SNA files, and both .Z80 and .SNA files to Multiface 3. It runs under +3DOS.

[SPECTRUM BINARY] M3CONV.SEA is the self-extracting archive;

[SPECTRUM BINARY] M3CONV.SEB is the BASIC loader.

Utilities referred to above are:

[CP/M BIN] PMAUTOAE.COM PMARC/PMEXT self-extracting archive.

[PC BIN] RAWRITE.EXE , source and documentation.
