Printit

Printit, by MML Systems, is a tool to print text to an Epson-compatible dot matrix printer, using one of eight supplied 8×16 fonts. This page ignores most of the features of Printit and concentrates on the fonts.

Files

Fonts

Here are the 8 fonts, as supplied. I have also included them as self-loading .COM files; these are intended mainly for the PcW16, which has an 8×16 screen font. On the CPC, PCW and Spectrum +3, the font will load but the letters will be 'squished' to fit.

The character set used appears to be a subset of that used by the Epson QX-10, defining only characters 32-217.

Additional Fonts

I created ten additional fonts for PRINTIT. Mostly these use the same Epson QX-10 character set, but Deco, Inverse and Rounded use the PCW character set.
